About Us

We met in November of 1999, while we were both working at a high school in Long Beach, California.. After a few weeks, we knew very quickly that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together and raise a family. By late 2002, we were married and soon after bought Rick's parents' home in Huntington Beach, California, as they retired back to Arizona. We are just now settling into our careers, lives and home and are so happy to get started on raising a family!

Currently Rick is a Coordinator of Special Education Services for students throughout the local school district. Cathy works as a School Counselor in the middle school just around the corner from our home. Although she loves working with her students, she is also very excited to change her focus to motherhood and place her career on hold to become a stay-at-home mom.

Having a child in our lives would mean a great deal for us. Although we enjoy our time together, we would love to start spending our time as a family. We would like to share our lives, friends and home with a loving new child.
